Join the Dapper Team
Dapper is currently looking for superstars to join its team just outside of Tel Aviv, Israel and in San Francisco, California. If you have a passion for the web and web services, love challenges, and want to be a part of an extremely exciting project, we'd like to hear from you.
Available Positions
Web Engineer: Dapper's website provides the primary means by which users interact with the service. The web engineer is responsible for all activities related to the website including search, Dapp management, administrative interfaces, the virtual browser, bridging the website with the back-end Java core engine, and implementing the design and flow decisions of the user interface and graphic designers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with object oriented HTML, PHP 5, MySQL, Linux, Apache, Javascript, Ajax, XML, the DOM, and networking protocols (especially HTTP). A knowledge of Java is a plus.
Software Test Engineer: Dapper is a system composed of many pieces. The software test engineer's responsibilities include building systems to monitor the availability of the Dapper service, writing code to monitor the quality of outgoing Dapp XML, and writing packages to test and debug all changes to Dapper's codebase. Desired experience includes thorough knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Java, Perl, PHP, or Python. Extensive experience in QA and software testing is a big plus.
